"¿Es Cierto Que Eres Comunista?”

¿Estamos al borde de otra reforma espiritual? Hace 500 años, un monje llamado, Martin Lutero clavó sus 95 tesis en la puerta de la iglesia en Wittenberg Alemania, como una protesta contraria a las prácticas de las Escrituras. Muchos ven este evento como el comienzo de la Reforma Protestante. Una vez más, la iglesia necesita otra reforma. Hay mucha confusión entre los protestantes evangélicos de hoy en día.  Gracias a Dios que está levantando líderes que están regresando a los principios de la reforma de 1517. Uno de esos líderes es el Dr. Miguel Nuñez. El hermano Núñez  pastorea la Iglesia Bautista Internacional y es el fundador del Ministerio Integridad & Sabiduría en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.

Me complace ver que la Convención Bautista Hispana de Texas invitó al Dr. Nuñez a ser uno de sus oradores principales en su reunión anual. Espero que la convención esté volviendo a, o por lo menos estén abiertos a los principios bíblicos históricos. Este es un giro en la dirección correcta, en comparación con uno de sus últimos oradores principales. Me estoy refiriendo a un predicador de la prosperidad y de la teología la palabra de fe, el “apóstol” Samuel Rodríguez. No estoy seguro si la convención elige a sus oradores dependiendo del seguimiento que las personas le den o la influencia que posee dicha persona.  En lo personal me alegro de que al menos la convención le haya abierto la puerta al pastor Nuñez. Dios lo ha usado tanto a el como ha otros pastores  para dar nacimiento a una reforma entre las iglesias de los Bautistas Hispanos. Su último libro aborda este tema (Las Enseñanzas Que Transformaron el Mundo: Un llamado a la iglesia en América Latina). Esta reforma no se trata sobre un estilo o  denominación en particular, sino un retorno a los principios básicos y fundamentales de nuestra fe. Podría resumirse en la acróstica TULIP o en las 5 Solas de la Reforma Protestante:

Are we on the verge of another spiritual reformation? 500 years ago a monk named, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on the church door in Wittenberg Germany, as a protest against practices contrary to the Bible. Many view this act as the start of the Protestant Reformation. Once again, the church is in need of another reformation. There is much confusion among protestant evangelical today, but praise God that he is raising leaders who are returning to the principles of the reformation of 1517. One of those leaders is Dr. Miguel Nuñez. He is the Pastor of Iglesia Bautista Internacional and the founder of Ministerio Integridad y Sabiduria in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

I am glad to see that the Hispanic Baptist Convention of Texas (or La Convención Bautista Hispana de Texas) has invited Dr. Nuñez to be one of their keynote speakers at their annual meeting this year. I hope the convention is returning to, or at least open to historical, biblical principles. This is a turn in the right direction, compared to one of their last keynote speakers, who is a prosperity gospel, word of faith teacher, Bishop Samuel Rodriguez. I’m not sure if the convention chooses it’s annual convention speakers by how much of a following or influence the person has, but I am glad they have at least opened the door to Pastor Nuñez. God has used Dr. Nuñez and others to birth a reformation among Hispanic Baptists churches. His latest book addresses this issue (Las Enseñanzas Que Transformaron el Mundo: Un llamado a despertar para la iglesia en Latino América). This reformation is not about style or denomination, but a return to the core principles of our faith. It could be summarized in the acrostic TULIP or the 5 Solas of the Protestant Reformation:
